France will lead Europe in solar thanks to new law:

Welcome to a new, Solar France.

With demand for large-scale solar and storage installations set to hit sustained new highs for at least the next 5 years, the organisers of Europe’s largest sustainable mobility event have launched the Solar and Battery Expo, Paris, March 21st 2024.

Macron’s new legislation, with all parking lots over 150 sqm to be half-covered with solar by 2028, is set to boost spending on large-scale solar projects in France by at least $16bn.

This enormous collective national project offers manufacturers, installers, distributors, consultants and financiers the biggest profit-potential opportunities in Europe.
